Joseph Curmi, 84, of Malta died Monday at his daughter’s home in Tuolumne City.
Mr. Curmi was a native of Malta. He lived in Tuolumne City 22 years before returning to Malta. He had retired after a career as a machinist. He was active in the Catholic church.
He is survived by his wife, Georgina Curmi of Malta; children, Antoinette Walter and Janet Wood, both of Tuolumne City, Vivianne Curmi Metnzner of Truckee, Maryanne Curmi of Sonora and Dori Linden of Columbia; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

     Elizabeth (Betty) Bonello was born on 21 September 1923 in Qormi, Malta. She married Joseph Curmi, son of Giuseppe Curmi and Vittoria (?), at Malta.
